We will set off on our trip to Venice from the island of Mali Losinj, sailing northwest along the Istrian coast until we reach the small romantic port of Rovinj.
With a fair wind and weather conditions we will set course further west. For a period of some 8 to 10 hours we will have an untrammelled view of the blue expanse of the Adriatic Sea. Experienced sailors are welcome to join me in trimming the sails to achieve top speeds. But whether first-time sailors or yachting pros, we can all throw our everyday cares to the winds and enjoy the smell of the sea together as we sail towards the setting sun.
On our arrival in Venice we will dock, if possible, directly at the jetty of St. Mark's Square and go ashore to explore the unique beauty of this ancient city. After spending two days in Venice, where everyone can pursue his/her own personal sightseeing programme, we will set off on a southeasterly course towards Istria.
On our return leg we will visit the Brijuni islands, which in 1983 were proclaimed a national maritime park. The archipelago is a true jewel of untouched nature resplendent with rare flora and fauna. On our final day we return to the harbour of Mali Losinj, where our journey began.
